Each vial contains: Streptomycin sulfate 2g
Pharmacology
Streptomycin is an aminoglycoside antibiotic, which is usually used in veterinary medicine as the sulfate salt. The product have antibacterial effect of Mycobacterium tuberculosis and most gram-negative bacilli including: E coli, Salmonella, brucella Pasteurella, Shigella dysentery bacillus, Burkholderia pseudomallei, etc, have less effect of most gram-positive cocci incluing: staphylococcus aureus, etc.
Indication
This product has a broad antibacterial spectrum of action than that of penicillin G. it is effective against gram-negative and gram positive bacteria and used to treat Pasteurella,  Pneumonia, Mastitis, Hysteritis disease and infections of the intestinal urinary and respiratory tracts. Use on Gram-negative bacteria and tubercle bacillus infection. Indications cattle’s tuberculosis and respiratory tract, alimentary tract, Urogenital tract infection. Such as pneumonia, enteritis, cystitis, mastitis actinophytosis and Leptospirosis etc.
Dosage and administration
Administered by intramuscular injection. Recommended dosage rate is 10-15mg/kg bodyweight.
Treatment should be given twice daily for two or three consecutive days.

For meat
Cattle, sheep goat and pig: 18 days
For milk: 72 hours
